Founder Trustees Message

When we began this journey in 2002, we did not have resources, buildings, or plans drawn on paper. What we had was a simple belief — that every child deserves a chance to learn, every family deserves access to basic healthcare, and every human being deserves dignity. Our work began from a small thatched shed in the tribal regions of Wayanad. Children gathered there with curiosity in their eyes, and families came with quiet hopes. Those early days taught us an important lesson: real change does not begin with infrastructure, but with trust. Over the years, Wayanad Girijana Seva Trust has grown into institutions — a residential school and a community medical clinic — yet our purpose remains unchanged. We continue to walk alongside the communities we serve, listening to their needs, respecting their culture, and growing together. We do not believe in loud promises or quick solutions. We believe in consistent presence, ethical service, and long-term commitment. Every step we take is guided by the responsibility entrusted to us by the people, our supporters, and our shared humanity.

Founders

We extend my heartfelt gratitude to all donors, well-wishers, partners, and volunteers who stand with us. Your support does more than fund programs — it builds futures, restores hope, and affirms dignity. Together, let us continue to serve quietly, grow steadily, and ensure that no one is left behind.
